That’ll Be Me by Dave Undis and Frank Prenevost VERSE Daddy gave me my first gun when I was four. I carried a rifle for Uncle Sam, and helped win a war. I put game on our table every day. Now they say they want to take my guns away. CHORUS Who’s gonna stop that? That’ll be me. Who’s gonna take a stand, and protect my family? Who’s gonna lock and load, and keep our country free? I will. Hell yeah. That’ll be me. VERSE The coyotes don’t bother my hound dogs any more. There’s buckshot in the thugs who tried to break down my front door. There’s a world full of danger out there so If they come to take my guns someone’s gotta say no. CHORUS Who’s gonna say that? That’ll be me. Who’s gonna take a stand, and protect my family? Who’s gonna lock and load, and keep our country free? I will. Hell yeah. That’ll be me. BRIDGE When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. If it comes to that, you can bet that I’ll be one. CHORUS Who’s gonna do that? That’ll be me. Who’s gonna take a stand, and protect my family? Who’s gonna lock and load, and keep our country free? I will. Hell yeah. That’ll be me. I will. Hell yeah. That’ll be me.

My Boots Don’t Make Me A Cowboy by Dave Undis and Michael Skotte VERSE When I was growing up I wanted to be just like my Dad. Boots like his, a beard like his, a truck like the one he had. He said, son, those things won’t make you the man you should be. Your grandpa and I had this same talk once, and this is what he told me. CHORUS He said my boots don’t make me a cowboy. My whiskers don’t make me a man. My truck doesn’t define me. It’s what I do that makes me who I am. VERSE Watching Dad I figured out what made him a hero to me. He treated Mom like a queen, and he doted on his family. He often worked two jobs or three, so he wasn’t always there. But when he could he would sing us to sleep after we said our prayers. CHORUS He sang my boots don’t make me a cowboy. My whiskers don’t make me a man. My truck doesn’t define me. It’s what I do that makes me who I am. BRIDGE The other day my boy said he wants to grow up just like me. He’s my daily reminder to be the best man I can be. CHORUS Because my boots don’t make me a cowboy. My whiskers don’t make me a man. My truck doesn’t define me. It’s what I do that makes me who I am.

On The 8th Day God Created Country by Dave Undis VERSE God created the heavens and the earth, and he saw that it was good. On the seventh day he rested, and threw a party for the neighborhood. The heavenly host blew their trumpets, the choir of angels sang. As he listened God couldn’t help but think they sure could use a little twang. …and on the 8th day God created country. CHORUS On the 8th day God created country. It’s some of his very best work. It’s the finest kind of music anyone’s ever heard. Six days to make the whole universe, one day to add that sound. On the 8th day God created country. It’s the sweetest sound around. VERSE God took apart one of the pearly gates, and he made a steel guitar. He made a mandolin and a banjo from the heart of a shooting star. He used lightning to fashion a fiddle, and thunder to build a bass. He turned some halos into a drum kit, sat down and started banging away. CHORUS On the 8th day God created country. It’s some of his very best work. It’s the finest kind of music anyone’s ever heard. Six days to make the whole universe, one day to add that sound. On the 8th day God created country. It’s the sweetest sound around. BRIDGE Satan wouldn’t play along So he was banished down below. As he left, he said you’ll be hearing from me. I’m inventing rock and roll. CHORUS On the 8th day God created country. It’s some of his very best work. It’s the finest kind of music anyone’s ever heard. Six days to make the whole universe, one day to add that sound. On the 8th day God created country. It’s the sweetest sound around.

Walmart Money by Dave Undis and Daniel Sims and Michael Mccarrel VERSE I work ten hours a day, six days a week, Fifty weeks a year trying to make ends meet. Every time I’m close to getting out of debt There's something at Walmart we gotta get. My bank account’s a joke, but it ain’t funny. Every penny I earn is Walmart money. CHORUS I work, work, work, myself into the ground Trying to get my credit card balance down. I pay, pay, pay, but it’s never enough. The cost of living keeps going up. The more I need, the more I spend. The more I owe, the more they lend. I owe Walmart money. It never ends. VERSE Every time I think that I’m getting ahead Life finds a way to slap me upside the head. The mower broke. I gotta cut the yard. So I put it on my Walmart credit card. VERSE I might pay off my bill if I stay alive And keep working ‘till the age of ninety-five. Or maybe just ninety if I get wise And find more ways to economize.

Thank My Unlucky Stars by Dave Undis and Michael Skotte VERSE I must have been born under unlucky stars. I never win nothing, always lose at cards. My friends can’t believe how unlucky I can be. My Cracker Jack box never has a prize. My fortune cookie’s always blank inside. But one day my unlucky stars weren’t shining on me. …and man, it felt so good ‘cause CHORUS I’m the unluckiest guy in the world, But I’ve got the world’s most wonderful girl. She’s as sweet and kind as a girl can be. She’s rarer than a no-hit game. She puts a royal flush to shame. Every day I thank my unlucky stars that she loves me. VERSE It was all day long at the DMV, Trying to replace a stolen ID, I left when they announced another delay. Walking out the door she bumped into me, And the rest, as they say, is history. My unlucky stars must have took off work that day. CHORUS I’m the unluckiest guy in the world But I’ve got the world’s most wonderful girl. She’s as sweet and kind as a girl can be. She’s rarer than a no-hit game. She puts a royal flush to shame. Every day I thank my unlucky stars that she loves me. BRIDGE I’m still unlucky but that’s OK. My unlucky stars can’t steal her away. CHORUS I’m the unluckiest guy in the world But I’ve got the world’s most wonderful girl. She’s as sweet and kind as a girl can be. I’m the unluckiest guy in the world But I’ve got the world’s most wonderful girl. She’s as sweet and kind as a girl can be. She’s rarer than a no-hit game. She puts a royal flush to shame. Every day I thank my unlucky stars. Every day I thank my unlucky stars that she loves me.

I’m Still In Here by Dave Undis and Dan Demay VERSE I heard you whisper, “How’s her memory today?” I wish you wouldn’t talk behind my back that way. I know I’m losing my memory, but I’m still the woman I used to be. I remember your very first soccer game. I’m sorry I can’t place your name. CHORUS But I’m still in here. Yeah I’m still here. Moments of clarity let you see that deep inside it’s still me. It’s not always clear, but I’m still in here. VERSE I see you staring. That means I must have lost my place. It makes me angry to see that look there on your face. I’m so much more than my memory. I’m losing the life you lived with me. I remember the second you first drew breath. I want to remember what we have left. CHORUS ‘Cause I’m still in here. Yeah I’m still here. Moments of clarity let you see that deep inside it’s still me. It’s not always clear, but I’m still in here. BRIDGE Don’t think that I don’t know how hard this is for you. Just know that I’m doing the best that I can do. VERSE Now you’re leaving. Our visits go by much too fast. I always worry this one just might be the last. When my train of thought jumps off its track, no one knows if I’m coming back. My memory ain’t what it used to be. When I forget about you, don’t forget about me. CHORUS ‘Cause I’m still in here. Yeah I’m still here. Moments of clarity let you see that deep inside it’s still me. It’s not always clear, but I’m still in here. I still live here.

I’m Coming Home by Dave Undis and Dan Demay VERSE I’ve missed you riding shotgun. It gets lonely alone. I’ve taken some wrong roads since you been gone. But I found the straight and narrow, and there’s no going back. My road is coming to an end, and I’ll be with you at last. CHORUS I’m coming home. Girl, I can’t wait to see You standing there at the gates waiting for me. When I pull in, our new journey begins In a place I’ve never seen. And it’s home if you’re there with me. VERSE This rig has run hard and it’s taken some abuse. I thought it would give up the ghost after I lost you. It’s running out of miles and falling apart. I‘m amazed it’s lasted this long with a broken heart. CHORUS I’m coming home. Girl, I can’t wait to see You standing there at the gates waiting for me. When I pull in, our new journey begins In a place I’ve never seen. And it’s home if you’re there with me. BRIDGE I’ve never run out of love. Can’t get there fast enough. I spend every waking moment dreaming of.... CHORUS Coming home. Girl, I can’t wait to see You standing there at the gates waiting for me. When I pull in, our new journey begins In a place I’ve never seen. And it’s home, oh it’s home, if you’re there with me. If you’re there with me.

Why Don’t You Have Wings? by Dave Undis and Dan Demay VERSE With a band-aid and a kiss, you swoop in and heal a knee. With just your hand on my cheek, my worries fly away from me. For years I’ve been watching what you do, wondering the same thing. Why don’t you have wings? CHORUS Cuz you comfort, you nurture, you love, and you teach. You guard with your life, you inspire while you lead. You do all of that and more. So many wonderful things. I have to wonder Why don’t you have wings? VERSE With a miracle and a rib, God created you. If he tries for all time, you’re something he won’t outdo. Every night I thank the Lord for you, and ask Him the same thing. Why don’t you have wings? CHORUS Cuz you’re a mother, a daughter, a friend, and a wife. My confidant, my lover, the bedrock of my life. You’re all of that and more. So many wonderful things. I have to wonder Why don’t you have wings? BRIDGE I think the angels wonder the same thing that I do, And when you get to heaven they’ll have a pair waiting for you. CHORUS Cuz you comfort, you nurture, you love, and you teach. You guard with your life, you inspire while you lead. You do all of that and more. So many wonderful things. I have to wonder Why don’t you have wings? I have to wonder Why don’t you have wings?

C-O-U-N-T-R-Y by Dave Undis See me waiting for your train. Oh I’ll soon see you again. You know that I love you. Anyone can see that I do. Teach me just what your love means. Are you gonna say yes to me? Why should we wait another night? C-O-U-N-T-R-Y. See the disappearing train. Oh I’m left waiting here again. You must think I’m a fool. Any fool can see it’s true. Teasing me is dog-gone mean. Are you coming back to me? Why did you leave me high and dry? C-O-U-N-T-R-Y. See me walking home alone. Oh I can’t believe I’ve sunk this low. You broke my heart in two. Ending this is what I should do. Tears are rolling down my cheeks. Are you sure you don’t love me? Why can’t I get you off my mind? C-O-U-N-T-R-Y. See you waiting at my door. Oh you caught the train that came before. You say that you’ll be mine Any place and any time. Tears of joy are what you see. Are you really gonna marry me? Why should we wait another night? C-O-U-N-T-R-Y. C-O-U-N-T-R-Y.
